Located in a tranquil area, the establishment provided us with spacious and clean rooms, complete with a separate lounge and TV area that the children thoroughly enjoyed. The highlight for us was the inviting children's playground, which kept our daughters entertained while my wife and I relaxed. Dawn, the owner, was exceptionally helpful, offering recommendations for local dining options and ensuring we felt at home. We opted for the self-catering facilities during our second visit and found the kitchenette well-equipped for our needs. The breakfast served was satisfying and a great way to start our day, and we appreciated the secure parking available. With ample space for families and a welcoming atmosphere, I can confidently recommend African Dawn B & B for those seeking comfort and a family-friendly experience in Calvinia.
